At Newport High School, we believe that developing strong learning habits is one of the most important ways to help young people succeed. Research shows that regular practice, reading and retrieval of knowledge helps students remember more, build confidence and achieve better outcomes in school. Our Knowledge is Power homework programme has been designed to support these habits through a simple and consistent weekly routine.
