We are an 11 to 18 school and aim to play a key role in our local community. As the Headteacher of Newport High School, I want to give all our students the opportunity to develop into responsible, well-rounded and valued members of society. We have three core values we use every day to guide and shape our work. Our values are Commitment, Equality and Integrity. We want our young people to develop into ambitious, confident young people who can express themselves with clarity and have the skills, knowledge and drive to realise their dreams. We ask that everyone speaks with commitment, strives for equality and acts with integrity.
Having previously held roles in industry and higher education, I understand the range of skills and attributes young people need to be successful and to compete at a national and international level. At Newport High School, we want to equip our students with these skills and to encourage them to be ambitious and to pursue their dreams.
