Curriculum for Wales allows us to make decisions about the curriculum we provide for our students. We have worked closely with our Governors, students and cluster primary schools to design a curriculum to meet the needs of our students.

Year 10 students from Newport High School visit to enhance their education and experience a new culture

Twenty students from year 10 in Newport High School had the opportunity to travel to Japan in February 2025.  For over half of the students this was their first experience of going abroad, and the trip became an opportunity to not only enhance their education, but to experience a new culture and develop their language skills.  We spoke to Lina, Kiara, Mia, Chaylun, Elisia
