NEWPORT HIGH CLUSTER OF SCHOOLS 

We are a group of schools in Newport which currently has over 2500  pupils.  The Schools in the cluster encapsulates pupils from Nursery, Infants, Junior and Newport High School and so meets the needs of pupils of all ages.

The Schools in the cluster are Newport High School, Brynglas Primary, Crindau, Don Close Nursery, Kimberley Nursery, Malpas Church Infants, Malpas Church Junior, Malpas Court, Malpas Park, Millbrook, Monnow and Ysgol Gymraeg Ifor Hael.

Schools are going through a period of change and in order to continue to maintain our educational standards we need to work more closely with local businesses and community groups and put our schools at the “Heart of the Community”.  This means we are at a very exciting stage in our development, but also very challenging and we would like your company to help us shape our schools and  pupils’ futures.  The cluster of Schools is very committed to its pupils and wants to ensure that they continue to have the education they deserve.  This means continuing to improve standards, in particular in relation to ICT and other educational materials.

We believe our facilities are excellent and offer far greater value for your money than hotel facilities. Our state of the art facilities at the High School are currently used by Newport Gwent Dragons and Newport County

I have recently been appointed as Business Generation Manager for the cluster to attract funding and maximise the income and business opportunities for our Schools, to improve our resources and benefit our students.   All monies generated will go directly into improving the educational standards of our children.

We are passionate about the school and our pupils and want to ensure we give our students the best possible start to life.

We appreciate you get many calls from organisations for funding and in the current economic climate companies are also facing difficulties.  We believe, however, we can form an excellent partnership with you. This would benefit our students and  raise considerable awareness of  your company through our strong links to the Community.
