The Swim Wales Easter National Championships

Elise Harris recently took part in  The Swim Wales Easter National championships where the top swimmers from Wales compete at the Wales national pool in Swansea. The event took place over 4 days and are not easy to qualify for. Elise took part in the girls 14 years age group where she won gold in the 50m breastroke in a time of 35.6 and also  gold in the 100m breastroke in a time of 1.16.4 and was 5th in the 200m breastroke. Currently she is ranked number 1 in Wales for winning the above events but more impressively she is on target to make the British Championships which are held every year in July in Ponds Forge in Sheffield where only the swimmers ranked 1 -24 in each age group and event in Britain are invited to compete. As of today Elise is ranked 14th in Britain for 14 year old girls at the 50m breaststroke and 15th for the 100m breaststroke. Congratulations Elise and keep up the hard work.
